One of the most transformational healing modalities I've done to heal from complex post traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) and recover from daily stress is somatic experiencing. Somatic experiencing is a therapeutic approach that recognizes the importance of the body in healing and recovering from trauma. Unlike more traditional talk therapy, somatic experiencing focuses on bodily sensations and helps you release trapped energy that may be causing physical or emotional pain. By tuning into the body's wisdom and allowing it to guide the healing process, you can gain a deeper understanding of your experiences and find relief from symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and dissociation.
Nervous system regulation is another crucial component of healing from C-PTSD and recovering from daily stress. Your nervous system plays a fundamental role in how you respond to stress and trauma. When you experience overwhelming or traumatic events, your nervous system can become dysregulated, leading to a wide range of symptoms such as hypervigilance, flashbacks, and panic attacks. By learning how to regulate your nervous system through various techniques such as deep breathing, grounding exercises, and gentle movement, you can effectively reduce your stress levels and experience a greater sense of calm and stability in your daily life.
Lastly, subconscious work is vital in healing from C-PTSD and recovering from daily stress. If you haven't yet please go read Louise Hay's book You Can Heal Your Life as this will help you complete the understanding that your body is your subconscious mind. "In order to reprogram the subconscious mind you need to relax the body. Release the tension. Let the emotions go. Get to a state of openness and receptivity." Which is exactly what these somatic exercises will help you do. This is because your subconscious mind stores memories, beliefs, and emotions that may not be readily accessible to your conscious awareness. These subconscious patterns often shape your thoughts, behaviors, and reactions without you even realizing it. This somatic + nervous system reshaping work will create a deep-level healing allows you to release old patterns, resolve trauma, and create new neural pathways that support your well-being and resilience.
To create this course, I have interwoven nervous system regulation, somatic experiencing, and subconscious rewiring into this program to ensure that you get the most powerful transformation possible. You deserve to feel empowered, balanced and free within your body.
Trauma is stored in the body as evidence to justify why you feel, think, and behave in certain ways. Your body is intelligent and deeply desires to protect you. Therefore it stores memories and sensations of pain or harm to try and protect you from ever feeling that way again. Rather, what ends up happening is that our body lives from a contracted, limited, fearful place. We lose access to aliveness, joy, power, and freedom.
This course is designed to help you release the pains, sensations, emotions of the past in order to regain access to your full self. No more survival mode. No more anxiety. No more panic. No more stagnation. You get to feel like yourself again. You get to reclaim your freedom.
